According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, a survey conducted in 2005 found 21 percent of full-time workers were victims of domestic violence and more than 75 percent of domestic violence perpetrators had used workplace resources to either check up on, express anger or remorse, and even threaten their victims. In some cases, the abuser is known to have stalked his victim at his/her workplace – about 130,000 stalking victims said they had lost their job because of stalkers.
