Even shoplifting a small item can result in hefty fines and possible jail time.

Domestic Violence

The holidays put a lot of stress on people, which could lead to a violent exchange with your significant other. It’s best to keep your temper in check. Get out of the house and cool off before you do something you regret later.

• But if you are charged with a domestic violence incident, you could be facing anywhere from 18 months to 20 years in prison plus fines. In addition, you will no longer be able to possess a weapon, live in your own home, or even see your children again.
