According to the National Highway of Traffic Safety Administration, 41 percent of motor vehicle fatalities were a result of drunk driving on Super Bowl Sunday in 2010. In the past 10 years, there has been 15 deaths as a result of drunk driving on New Jersey roadways on Super Bowl, which three times the average number over other days of the year.
