It can happen to anyone: You start to maneuver with your vehicle only to find at the last moment that you are about to hit another car. Every car has blind spots, and untold numbers of people on New Jersey’s busy roads, turnpikes, and parkways narrowly avoid auto accidents caused by limited visibility every day. Sadly, many more are involved in accidents which may result in serious personal injury or even death.
When you are involved in an accident, no matter what its cause, you will need an attorney on your side to see that you are treated fairly. Newark accident attorney Anthony Carbone would be happy to discuss your rights during a free case evaluation.
Avoiding Blind Spot Accidents
You can help prevent causing a blind spot accident by taking time to adjust your mirrors before you drive. Your side-view mirrors should show just the edge of your car on their respective sides. Your rearview mirror should provide a wide view of everything behind you. Prior to changing lanes or merging, check all three mirrors to ensure clear passage.
Of course, your carefulness cannot always protect you against other drivers. If you are injured in a car accident, Mr. Carbone can take your case, establish liability, and help you get the compensation you will need to recover.
