Tuesdays With Tony: His greatest loves

We’ve learned about some of Tony’s favorite things which, in no particular order, are family, wine, and cigars. But what else does he love?
Well here’s a quick list of some of the things that make Tony the man he is:
Food: For Tony, nothing beats a home-cooked meal. “My favorite place to eat is at my dining room table on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Otherwise it is at my kitchen table every Sunday,” he says. “There is nothing better than waking up on a Sunday morning to the smell of meatballs frying on the stove.” But when he does go out to eat, Casa Dante and Second Street Deli are his favorite haunts. “The broccoli rabe and sausage sandwich at Second Street Deli is the best.”
Teams: It’s New York teams all the way — the Yankees and the Giants. So no one tell them how lousy they’re doing this year, ok?
Animals: Tony is a dog’s best friend: “I have two dogs, Stogie and Stella. I call them ‘dumb’ and ‘dumber’ because they are soooo stupid. Thank God they are cute.”
Time Off: So what does Tony do on his days off? The Jersey Shore, of course! “I love my beach house in Lavallette, New Jersey. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the beach and Lavallette.” Tony can also be found on the golf course or playing poker with his close friends or at Monmouth Racetrack. And when it comes to vacation time, it’s time for Disney World!
