When It’s More Than a Workers’ Compensation Claim

It seems straightforward…you get injured while on the job, you receive workers’ compensation from your employer. But what if the accident turns out to be more complicated? What if the injury was caused by something else? Since disability payments tend to be low and don’t quite compensate for pain and suffering, you might be able to file a lawsuit to receive proper benefits.
There are a few situations where it is possible that you can sue for damages that caused your injuries. Here are a few examples:
